Con motivo de las nuevas perspectivas de la política de inmigración, asilo y refugio de la UE, se manifiesta la necesaria relación entre Derecho Internacional Privado (DIPr.) y el Derecho Internacional de los refugiados. Ejemplo de ello es la STJUE de 2 de agosto de 2021, Asunto C-262/21 PPU, donde el tribunal se ha encargado de conciliar los intereses presentes. Además, en la aplicación de las disciplinas del DIPr. y del Derecho de asilo, cuando media violencia machista, hemos de atender a las técnicas y soluciones del principio de gender mainstreaming. Y es que las bifurcaciones de la violencia de género son tales que llegan hasta el sistema de asilo y a la sustracción ilícita de menores.
