-New Horizons for Civil Justice in Europe. Towards the Stockholm Programme (Trier, 5 November 2009 – 6 November 2009): On 16 October 2009, the Swedish EU Presidency published the first draft of the Stockholm Programme, a new multi-annual programme which establishes general priorities and political goals in the area of Justice and Home Affairs, will be adopted by the European Council in December.
The new programme will follow the 1999 Tampere and the 2004 Hague Programmes.

Tax Fraud, Copyright and Internet, Freedom of Services and Family Law - Seventh Annual Conference on European Law in Kranjska Gora (Kranjska Gora, 19 November 2009 – 20 November 2009): The Seventh Annual Conference on European Law in Kranjska Gora organised by the Slovenian Institute for European Studies and ERA will for the first time also target legal practitioners from Slovenia's neighbouring countries. The conference will be divided into several - sometimes parallel - sessions, between which participants will be free to choose.
The event will provide an overview of recent developments in the following important areas of European law:
