Conflict of interest is one of the greatest challenges faced today by law firms with wide-reaching international scope which offer a special transcendence in arbitration. In recent years, arbitration laws and regulations and ethical codes have addressed this issue, although there are still many voids and questions left to be solved. The purpose of this article is to study international practice regarding conflicts of interest arising from arbitrators’ membership of large law firms and the appropriate solutions for resolving them.
