"Building Bridges in Cross-Border Procedures"

(Lisboa, 2 y 3 de mayo de 2019)

El proyecto e-Codex ( e-Codex Plus project) y el equipo del proyecto ERC Building EU Civil Justice de la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad Erasmus de Rotterdam organizan conjuntamente el congreso titulado é' se encuentra con justicia: tendiendo puentes en los procesos transfronterizos. Los días 2 y 3 de mayo de 2019, académicos, informáticos y profesionales del mundo del derecho se encontrarán en Lisboa para discutir cómo mejorar la colaboración entre estos especialistas a efectos de los procesos civiles transfronterizos. El objetivo del congreso es ofrecer una plataforma a los distintos actores implicados a través de la que puedan encontrase, discutir e intercambiar ideas con el objetivo de generar un punto de encuentro entre el mundo jurídico y el digital que conduzca a la 'e-justicia'. Centrándose en el e-CODEX como una herramienta que potencialmente podría mejorar la presente situación, los participantes han de proponer ideas, discutir y desarrollar un plan para diseñar el futuro de la e-justicia a nivel de la EU.

The e-Codex Plus project and the ERC project team Building EU Civil Justice of the Erasmus School of Law are jointly organising the conference ‘e’ meets justice: building bridges in cross-border procedures. On 2 and 3 May 2019, academics, IT and legal professionals will meet in Lisbon to discuss how to improve the collaboration between these communities in cross-border civil procedures. The aim of the conference is to offer a platform for different stakeholders to meet, engage in discussions and exchange ideas in order to find a meeting point between the legal world and the digital world, arriving at ‘e-justice’. Focusing on e-CODEX as a potential tool to improve the current situation, participants will be encouraged to propose ideas, engage in discussions and develop a mind-set to foster the future of e-Justice in the EU.
